Successful & Favorite: Monochromatic - Everything in the picture is some sort of shade of brown which makes it a perfect picture for the monochromatic assignment. It is also my favorite because there are many different objects/textures in the picture but they still all the same shade which makes it interesting. It's different from a lot of other monochromatic pictures where they are just a close up of one type of texture.
Successful: Monochromatic - the absence of other colours makes you focus on the single colour and its qualities and feeling attached with it. It also allows the viewer to focus on the composition of the image and the textures.
Favourite: Neutral - I like the texture and the limited use of colour.
Favorite & Successful: Monochromatic; I'm a fan of wood/trees and the enlarged textures of wood and you did a great job with the composition incorporating the other shades from the background to achieve the monochromatic look

The most successful was the neutral because the colors lack tonal value.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the warm because I really enjoy the coloration of the plants.
Successful: Monochromatic, because it's very clear that the entire picture focuses on different shades of the same color.
